In the Moscow district of the Chuy region, in the Ak-Suu gorge, nature observers spotted a group of ibexes, known in the Kyrgyz language as "teke."

This information was relayed to a Turmush correspondent.

The animals moved confidently along the steep and crumbling slopes.

Ecologist Alexander Sosnovsky explained: "There is still snow in the mountains, and the ibexes, mostly females, are descending closer to the bottom of the gorge, where the temperature is higher and there is no snow. Although the ibexes seem accessible for observation, it is extremely difficult for predators to approach them due to the instability of the slopes, which are made up of loose structures. As soon as a predator or a person tries to climb such a slope, gravel, sand, and stones start to roll down noisily, making it practically impossible to get close to the ibexes. At the same time, wild goats feel safe on these steep and loose slopes," he noted.
