Residents of Chui Region Concerned About the Timelines for the Completion of the Kant—Novopokrovka—Bishkek Road Repairs

Local residents of the Issyk-Ata district in the Chui region are wondering whether the asphalt paving on the Kant—Novopokrovka—Bishkek road will be completed this year.

According to citizens interviewed by a Turmush correspondent, they were previously informed that the road work was expected to be completed by 2026. However, it has become known that asphalt will not be laid this year. "How true is this information?" residents are asking.

The press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic plans to clarify the situation regarding this matter.
