













In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a ceremony was held at T. Usubaliev Square, where 117 new service vehicles were handed over to cultural institutions under the Ministry of Culture.
High-ranking guests attended the event, including the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev and the Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev, as well as representatives from the cultural sector.
Adylbek Kasymaliev, in his address, stated that significant measures are being taken under the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov. Efforts to strengthen the material and technical base of culture, update infrastructure, and support creative teams are actively underway.
“Every year, funding for culture increases. In 2021, the budget was 2 billion 800 million soms, and by 2025 it will rise to 6.9 billion soms. This means that over the past five years, state support for culture has increased almost 2.5 times. This year, 851 million soms have been allocated to strengthen the material and technical base of cultural institutions, and significant equipment and machinery have been purchased with these funds. Additionally, every year funds are allocated for infrastructure updates, leading to the construction and renovation of cultural facilities across the country,” he noted.Furthermore, Kasymaliev emphasized that this event is an important step by the state in support of the cultural sector, as 176.9 million soms were allocated for the purchase of 117 vehicles.
