Today, an online meeting was held at the Ministry of Internal Affairs with Minister Ulan Niyazbekov, during which the results of the police work for the first quarter of 2026 were summarized.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, measures to ensure public order during the upcoming holidays — Orozo Aita and Nooruz — were discussed during the meeting.
From March 20 to 22, law enforcement agencies will operate in an enhanced mode. The number of police officers will be increased in places of mass gatherings of citizens, as well as near mosques and at venues where festive events will take place. In total, more than 12,000 personnel will be involved to ensure safety.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that any attempts to destabilize the situation, spread false information, and provoke unrest will be quickly identified and suppressed.
