Police officers will be involved in these events to maintain public order.
Colonel of Police Ulan Zhukenov, head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Batken region, conducted a drill inspection ahead of the Orozо Ait and Nowruz holidays. During the inspection, he assessed the uniforms and identification of the officers and familiarized them with the instructions from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The purpose of this inspection was to ensure compliance with public order and the readiness of officers for the festive events, as well as to prevent offenses and traffic incidents.
From March 20 to 22, police officers will operate in a state of heightened readiness.
In the Batken region, there are 142 mosques where the Eid prayer will be held, and special police groups will be allocated to ensure safety in these locations.
