According to information from the regional police department, a large-scale inspection of the forces and resources of law enforcement agencies was organized as part of the preparations for the upcoming holidays.
The personnel inspection took place in the central square of Karakol, where the leadership checked the readiness of the units, their technical equipment, and gear to ensure safety in places of mass gatherings. The effectiveness of operational plans for protecting citizens' rights was also assessed during the event.
Major General of Police Murat Boronov, head of the Issyk-Kul regional police department, addressed the staff with specific instructions. He emphasized the need for intensified patrolling during the holiday days and maintaining public order, as well as for rapid response to possible offenses and prevention of emergency situations.
To ensure stability in the region, more than 800 police officers are deployed, working in an enhanced mode. Attention will be focused on religious sites and mosques during prayers, as well as on parks, squares, and other locations where cultural events are planned.
