Festive events dedicated to Nooruz took place at the central stadium of Batken. This was reported by the presidential representative in the region.
The celebrations began with the traditional preparation of sumolok, in which both local leaders and representatives of the authorities participated. They wished the townspeople health and peace and tasted this drink, receiving blessings from the residents.
The guests of the celebration had the opportunity to get acquainted with national dishes, crafts, and art exhibitions of Batken and its district. The cultural program was presented by artists from the A. Jainakov Musical Drama Theater, who performed theatrical numbers.
During the official part of the event, congratulations were voiced by the Secretary of the Security Council Adilet Orozbekov, the presidential representative of the KR in Batken region Mamyrzhan Rakhimov, the mayor of Batken Seytek Kulubaev, as well as the akim of Batken district Danir Imanaliev and guests from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
The head of the region, Mamyrzhan Rakhimov, expressed his best wishes to the residents, emphasizing the importance of unity and peace on earth.
The festive program continued with concerts by famous performers of the country. Sports enthusiasts could also participate in competitions in wrestling, tug-of-war, and hand-to-hand combat.
