In the Batken region, in the Kadamjai district, a fair dedicated to agriculture took place. This was reported by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the event, local farmers, peasants, and processors presented their goods, offering a variety of products: meat, dairy products, as well as vegetables, fruits, and grains. Additionally, ecologically clean agricultural products were showcased.
According to the ministry's information, prices at the fair were lower than market prices: beef was sold for 640 soms per kilogram, lamb for 650 soms, and potatoes could be purchased for 45 soms.
“The production of agricultural products in the country is stable, and there is no shortage of food products. Such fairs help provide the population with necessary goods and support local producers,” the official statement said.
