The reconstruction of the bypass road connecting the village of Barskoon and the city of Karakol, covering sections at kilometers 141 and 216, continues in the Issyk-Kul region. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
According to the ministry's data, 143 units of special equipment are involved in the project, and the mobilization work has been completed. Currently, tasks are being carried out to widen the shoulders, install drainage ditches, and mill the road surface.
It is worth noting that the reconstruction of the 75-kilometer section of the Barskoon-Karakol road in the Jeti-Oguz district began in 2025. As part of this project, the construction of five bridges, eight underpasses, as well as the arrangement of sidewalks and lighting systems in populated areas is planned.
According to the schedule, the completion of construction work is planned for the period from 2025 to 2028. The warranty for the operation of the road will be 5 years.
