. Recently, there has been a surge of critical publications in the media and social networks regarding personnel decisions in the law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan. Against the backdrop of these discussions, the State National Security Committee (GKNB) issued an official statement.
In its message, the agency noted that many of the materials presented contain unsubstantiated claims about "political ambitions" and the alleged behind-the-scenes influence of certain officials. Such statements lack factual basis and rely on anonymous sources, raising doubts about their credibility.
The GKNB emphasized that all appointments in government structures occur strictly in accordance with current legislation, taking into account the professional experience, education, and personal qualities of the candidates. Claims of non-compliance with positions without specific facts have no grounds.
In this context, the committee urged media outlets and social media users to rely on verified and official sources of information. The dissemination of unreliable data, according to the agency, can mislead the public and negatively affect the reputation of government institutions.
Additionally, the GKNB confirmed its commitment to the principles of openness and noted that constructive dialogue is only possible based on reliable information.
