Work has begun on the Chu River to strengthen the banks that are at risk of erosion. This became known thanks to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which reported on the visit of Minister Kanatbek Chynbaev and the governor of the Chui region to the damaged areas.
During the inspection, the minister instructed the relevant authorities to expedite the process of strengthening the shorelines. He emphasized that such measures would help protect agricultural lands and minimize risks for the local population.
It is worth noting that the work to protect the banks of the Chu River, which runs through the villages of Nizhny-Chuy in the Sokuluk district and Suimonkul Chokmorov in the Alamudun district, is already actively being carried out by the Ministry of Emergency Situations with the aim of stopping the erosion process.
