Turmush reported that on March 26, a meeting is taking place in Tokmok between representatives of government agencies and local residents of the eastern zone of the Chui region (Kemin, Chui, Issyk-Ata, and Alamudun districts). This event was organized at the request of President Sadyr Japarov to quickly address pressing issues.
The resident shared that two heads of cattle were stolen from him. "My son was able to find one animal. We caught the thief and presented evidence of his guilt, but the police simply let him go," he noted.
In response to this statement, the head of the Chui Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Kanybek Abdyrahmanov, instructed his subordinate to meet with the citizen and investigate the situation.
A female resident of the region also raised several questions: "Can an 11-year-old child be a defendant in a civil case with living parents? What does the law say? Also, regarding document forgery: is Mr. Ch. present here? Do concepts such as 'protection' and nepotism exist in the police? Why does the prosecutor's office not accept citizens, asking about the reason for their visit and not allowing them inside?"
In response to her questions, the head of the Department of Internal Affairs scheduled a personal meeting for Monday at 4:00 PM to discuss each of the issues in detail.
