





The Mayor of the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Aibek Junushaliev, conducted a review of the first stage of the improvement of the area along the Big Chui Canal, which runs from the Young Guard Boulevard to Elebaev Street. This information was provided by the press service of the Bishkek City Hall.
As part of the first stage, the work includes clearing the area of reeds and shrubs, sanitary pruning of trees, as well as the demolition of illegal constructions. More than 10 units of specialized equipment and about 30 workers have been engaged to carry out these tasks.
The second stage plans to include bank reinforcement works, as well as investigating the possibility of constructing a road, while the third stage will focus on creating a promenade. Relevant services have been instructed to take measures regarding objects that violate the water protection zone.
The implementation of this project is aimed at improving the environmental situation in the area, creating comfortable conditions for the leisure of city residents, and enhancing the level of safety in the adjacent territory.
