Deputy of the Orlovsky City Council Aigul Kabaeva raised several critical questions regarding the road situation in the city.

Turmush reported that on March 26, an event took place in Tokmok where local residents interacted with representatives of government agencies and local self-government. The meeting was organized at the direction of President Sadyr Japarov to quickly address pressing issues for the population.

As Kabaeva noted, residents often reach out to the authorities through social media, but their requests go unanswered. One of the most pressing problems is the lack of a traffic light at the entrance to Orlovka from the village of Zhany-Alysh.

On the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway, there is heavy traffic with high-speed vehicles, making it difficult for people and livestock to cross the road. Moreover, although new asphalt was recently laid on several streets in Orlovka, road markings and signs are absent. The installed speed bumps are not accompanied by warning signs, creating a danger for inexperienced drivers.

There are four intersections in the city, but only one of them has a "intersection" sign. The others lack signs, which is particularly dangerous at night due to sharp turns. "We ask you to consider these issues," emphasized Deputy Kabaeva.

The head of the Chui Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Kanybek Abdyrahmanov, gave the responsible officials a week to address the identified problems. "I am giving the head of the police department a week. If the signs are not installed within this timeframe, measures will be taken. Resolve this issue together with the akim and the mayor," he added.
