In Bishkek, efforts continue to ensure road safety: employees of the Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (PSMIA) are conducting a raid called "Pedestrian," covering the city's markets.

The main goal of this raid is to enhance road safety in areas where large numbers of people gather. This includes preventing traffic accidents involving pedestrians and identifying violations of traffic rules by both drivers and pedestrians.

As part of the raid, PSMIA employees are holding discussions with citizens, explaining the importance of crossing the roadway only at designated places. Drivers are also reminded of the need to reduce speed near markets and the priority of pedestrians at crossings.

PSMIA urges all road users to strictly adhere to the rules and practice mutual courtesy on the roads, especially in areas with heavy traffic and high pedestrian flow.
