For three days, specialists evaluated documents related to the work of the presidential representative's office in the region, as well as the structures responsible for the prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergencies in the Ak-Suu, Tyup, Jeti-Oguz, Ton, and Issyk-Kul districts, as well as the cities of Karakol and Balykchy.
Additionally, an assessment of available resources and forces was conducted, as quick and correct actions are necessary for adequate responses to sudden incidents.
As part of this check, a special commission from the Ministry of Emergency Situations analyzed the readiness of civil protection services, their organizational plans, and set the task of addressing a number of identified shortcomings in the shortest possible time.
It is important to note that such a check is carried out in accordance with the decree of President Sadyr Japarov, who approved the plans of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of civil protection until 2026.
