Recently, the fund of the historical and ethnographic museum located at Talas State University was enriched with a new valuable exhibit.

On March 30, two large clay items were transferred to the museum from the village of Sögöt, located in the Manas district: a jug 2 meters tall and 2.30 meters wide, as well as a cooking vessel.

PhD in History and Associate Professor Moimol Jusupova noted that third-year students from the Faculty of History, Ratbek Amanbaev and Otunaliev Zhodarbek, went to the village of Sögöt for research purposes. During their trip, they met with local residents Kanat Chynaliev and Umarbek Moldobaev, who donated the exhibits to the museum. The young researchers successfully delivered the jug and clay vessel to the museum fund.

“This jug represents a valuable historical heritage that demonstrates the daily life and craft culture of our ancestors,” shares Jusupova's opinion.
