A delegation consisting of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, including Gulzhan Satieva and Bakyt Chomoev, as well as the First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Jenish Seydaliev, conducted an inspection of landfills in the Sokuluk and Moscow districts. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the visit, issues related to fires at the landfills and their consequences for the ecology and public health were discussed.
Local residents expressed their concerns and called for immediate action to address the issues that have arisen.
As a result of the meeting, instructions were issued to improve the waste management system, enhance control over the situation, and ensure timely extinguishing of emerging fires.
