The Women's National Team of Kyrgyzstan (U-19) won the Asian zonal championship

The volleyball players of Kyrgyzstan became champions of the Asian zonal tournament for youth teams.

From November 4 to 9, the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) championship took place in Colombo (Sri Lanka), featuring four teams with players no older than 19 years. In this tournament, the teams played against each other in a round-robin format.

During the preliminary stage, the Kyrgyz volleyball players won against Nepal with a score of 3:2 and defeated the Maldives team 3:0, but suffered a loss to the tournament hosts — the Sri Lanka national team (0:3).

Finishing second in the group, the Kyrgyzstan team advanced to the semifinals, where they faced the Nepal team.

In the semifinals, the Kyrgyz players again demonstrated excellent play, winning against their opponents with a score of 3:0 and securing a place in the final.

On November 9, in the decisive match, the Kyrgyzstan team battled against the Sri Lanka team, where they managed to take revenge, winning with a score of 3:2.
