Four national teams, consisting of players no older than 23 years, are participating in the tournament.
The first round took place at the "Kurmanbek" stadium.
In the opening match, the Russians, representing the U-21 team, achieved victory over the Iranian national team with a final score of 2:0. In the closing minutes of the match, Nikita Saltykov failed to convert a penalty kick.
In the second match, the Kyrgyzstan national team managed to snatch victory from the Bahrain team. In the first half, the opponent had a chance to score from a penalty but was unable to capitalize on it.
As a result of the first round, both Russia and Kyrgyzstan earned 3 points and share the top positions in the tournament table.
The second round will take place on November 15, where the Kyrgyz will face the Iranians.
