This event was part of the international tournament "MANAS CUP 2025" (U-23).
In attendance were the president of the Kyrgyz Football Union, Kamchybek Tashiev, and numerous football fans.
The Olympic team of Kyrgyzstan began their journey in the tournament with a game against Bahrain, which ended with a score of 2:1. Arsen Sharshenbekov managed to equalize in the first half, and two minutes later, Anton Polev put the team ahead by scoring another goal in the 42nd minute.
The General Secretary of the KFU, Mederbek Sydykov, emphasized that the main goal of the tournament, which involves the national teams of Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Iran, and Bahrain, is to create conditions for experience exchange among young teams, improve the quality of their play on the international stage, and strengthen friendly ties. He noted that this tournament serves as a preparatory stage for the Kyrgyzstan national team ahead of the 2026 Asian Cup finals.
The next match for the Olympic team of Kyrgyzstan will be on November 15 against the team of Iran, and on November 18 against Russia.
