At the awards ceremony for the youth hockey team of Kyrgyzstan, the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, made a significant statement about the intention to build a new ice arena in the city.
“On behalf of the city hall, we intend to do everything possible this year to launch this important project. We will choose a suitable plot of land and begin construction of a modern sports facility,” the mayor noted.
It is worth reminding that the youth team of Kyrgyzstan achieved historic success by winning gold at the World Championship in the third division of Group B.
