



From January 26 to 31, Bishkek hosted the city stage of the toguz korgool competitions, which involved the best schoolchildren selected from district tournaments.
According to the city administration, 16 students who took prize-winning places in their districts participated in this stage.
The city league covers 13 different sports, including badminton, basketball, volleyball, handball, darts, athletics (both children's and classic), mini-football, table tennis, pioneerball, toguz korgool, ordo, and chess.
In the boys' tournament for toguz korgool, the first place was taken by school No. 51 from the Sverdlovsk district, the second place went to the "Seitek" school from the Pervomaisky district, the third place was taken by boarding school No. 1 also from the Pervomaisky district, and the fourth place went to school No. 69 from the same district.
As for the girls, the winner was school No. 112 from the Oktyabrsky district, the second place was taken by school No. 96 from the Leninsky district, the third place went to school No. 51 from the Sverdlovsk district, and the fourth place went to school No. 66 from the same district.
The city administration reported that the winners and prize-winners of the city stage received trophies, medals, and diplomas, and were also awarded a trip for health recreation at Lake Issyk-Kul. The organization of the competitions was carried out by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the Bishkek city administration.
