A seminar dedicated to sports medicine and medical rehabilitation has started in Bishkek as part of a scientific-practical conference. This information was provided by the Kyrgyz Football Union.
According to the union's data, participants, under the guidance of qualified international specialists, are developing their practical clinical skills. The training process focuses on working with joints, such as the knee, ankle, shoulder, and elbow.
The seminar program includes essential aspects, including clinical examination, joint mobilization, restoration of range of motion, as well as treatment of pain syndromes and swelling. Additionally, attention is given to the functional rehabilitation of athletes after surgical interventions.
The training format includes the analysis of clinical cases, demonstration of modern rehabilitation methods (based on the concepts of Mulligan, Maitland, Kaltenborn, PNF, CLT), and the use of the latest physiotherapeutic equipment.
"The goal of the project is to develop functional rehabilitation based on the principles of evidence-based medicine, deepen clinical thinking, and exchange experiences among local specialists," the message states.
The seminar is organized by the "Murak" rehabilitation center, the Kyrgyz Football Union, and the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KGMA).
