"Young Talents": 17-Year-Old Dair Mukhametov Takes Third Place Among 100 Judo Athletes

In Tokmok, located in the Chui region, 17-year-old Daiyr Mukhambetov won third place among one hundred participants in the national judo championship.

He was born in 2009.

“I have eight brothers and sisters. I have been involved in sports for ten years. Currently, I train at the 'Tynai' club, which is located in the village of Chui,” Daiyr said.

He is a two-time champion of the Chui region and a multiple prizewinner of international tournaments.

Daiyr expressed hope that in the future he will achieve significant success and bring glory to Kyrgyzstan on the world stage,” he added.
