On February 27, public hearings were held in the city of Osh, where the budget project for 2026 was discussed.

As part of the budget, the city administration proposed to allocate 150 million soms for subsidies for the Akhmatbek Suymbaev Stadium and the FC Alay.

This is 35 million soms more than the amount allocated in 2025, when the club and stadium received 115 million soms.

The club's director, Mirlan Bakirov, commented on the increase in funding and explained how these funds will be used.

“In our country, there are only 60 football players ready to play in the Premier League. Considering that 16 clubs are participating in this season's championship, the number of players distributed among the teams is insufficient. This has led to an increase in demand for Kyrgyz football players, which, in turn, has raised their salaries. Salaries for legionnaires have also increased,” he noted.

According to Bakirov, the funds will be used not only for player salaries but also for maintaining the condition of the football field, investing in young players, and implementing the VAR system at the stadium.

“Currently, a decision has been made to install the VAR system at all stadiums. The installation cost ranges from 6 to 8 million soms. There are also fees for participating in the Premier League, which this year increased from 2.5 million to 4 million soms, and will be 8 million soms next year. Since our stadium has a hybrid pitch, its condition needs to be closely monitored. Additionally, our players travel by plane for matches in other cities, which also increases expenses due to rising air ticket prices,” he added.
