During his working visit to China, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, held a meeting with Nurlan Ermekbaev, the Secretary-General of the SCO.
In Beijing, issues related to expanding cooperation among SCO member states in the field of physical culture and sports were discussed. The meeting participants touched upon the organization of joint events and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Moldazhiyev shared the priorities in the development of the sports sector in Kyrgyzstan and expressed readiness to deepen cooperation.
Nurlan Ermekbaev, for his part, informed his interlocutor about the current SCO projects, emphasizing that sports initiatives are one of the most actively developing areas. He also noted the importance of holding the international Issyk-Kul Marathon of the SCO, which has become a significant sporting event that contributes to strengthening friendly ties among the peoples of the participating countries and fostering a healthy society.
