- In Kyrgyzstan, one of the most important infrastructure initiatives is the construction project of the hydroelectric power station "Kambar-Ata-1". It is intended to provide the country with electricity and optimize the management of water resources. This was stated by the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, Temir Sariev, in an interview with local media.

Sariev noted that the implementation of this project will be a significant competitive advantage for the country, which will increase its attractiveness for investors.

“This is our significant potential and a strong argument for attracting investments. The Kambar-Ata-1 project will allow for the accumulation and distribution of water resources according to needs, as well as establish an equal dialogue with neighbors,” he said.

In addition, Sariev highlighted the construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway as another strategically important project that will open up transit opportunities for Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia and expand the region's logistics prospects.

The head of the Chamber of Commerce also emphasized that attracting investments requires a comprehensive approach and cannot be based on isolated decisions. He identified important conditions for this as the stability of the state, strong institutions of power, and sustainable, liberal legislation.

He added that the necessary conditions for doing business have already been created in Kyrgyzstan. The legislation fosters the formation of a favorable investment environment, and the country's tax policy is considered one of the most attractive in Central Asia.
