Nevertheless, Kyrgyz citizens express dissatisfaction due to high prices and tariffs
The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Temir Sariyev, reported that Kyrgyzstan is among the top five countries with the highest economic growth dynamics.
He noted that the current rates of increase in gross domestic product (GDP) indicate a positive trend in Kyrgyzstan's economy.
“The growth rate is 9-10%. Over 11 months, we have reached 10.2%. By the end of the year, we plan to exceed 10%,” he stated at a conference in Bishkek.
Sariyev emphasized that the GDP growth rate of Kyrgyzstan is one of the highest among the CIS countries.
“The construction sector plays an important role in this process, with its growth over 11 months amounting to approximately 127%. However, we expect a slowdown in winter,” added the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the same time, citizens of Kyrgyzstan note that high prices and tariffs, as well as significant wage disparities across different sectors, negatively affect their expectations.
