During the meeting, the head of the government drew attention to the draft republican budget for 2025, as well as the forecast data for 2026 and 2027.
Kasymaliev reported that the consolidated budget of the country in 2025 will exceed 1.1 trillion soms, which will be a historic achievement. "The previously approved budget amounted to 708.8 billion soms, and we are finishing the current year with an increase of 381.7 billion soms, which is 153.8%. At the same time, we note a surplus of over 10 billion soms," he stated.
He also focused on macroeconomic indicators, noting that for ten months of the current year, GDP growth has been at 10%.
"According to information from the International Monetary Fund, Kyrgyzstan was among the top three countries with the highest GDP growth rates in 2024. Previously, we were in the top five with a rate of 9%. The GDP volume specified in the budget law is 1 trillion 624 billion soms, and as of the end of ten months, it reached 1 trillion 427 billion 359 million soms. It is expected that by the end of the year, GDP will grow to 1 trillion 779 billion soms, which is 155.6 billion soms more than planned. All sectors of the economy are showing positive results, particularly construction, where the average growth was 42.8%. In 2025, GDP per capita is set at 2,616 dollars, and by the end of the year, it is projected to be 2,770 dollars, which is 154 dollars more," he added.
Kasymaliev also noted that Kyrgyzstan's international reserves by the end of October 2025 amounted to nearly 8 billion dollars (7 billion 955.10 million dollars), which is 3 billion 20.34 million dollars more compared to October 2024.
The head of the government briefly commented on the situation in the global economy, pointing to a slowdown in growth rates as of December 1, 2025. According to him, despite political instability and trade conflicts in the world, Kyrgyzstan's economy is demonstrating positive trends and maintaining stability.
As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to amend the republican budget, which received approval from the Cabinet of Ministers.
