The Contribution of Exports to the Structure of Kyrgyzstan's GDP by Usage Decreased Due to Gold in the First Half of 2025

- The main driver of growth in Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product in the first half of 2025 was consumption. According to information published by the EFSR in October 2025, exports, particularly gold shipments, have significantly decreased, which negatively affected its share in the GDP structure by use.

GDP structure by use is a method of analyzing gross domestic product based on the study of expenditures aimed at its formation. It includes final consumption (household, government, and NGO expenditures), gross capital formation (investments), and net exports (the difference between exports and imports). This approach allows us to understand how the resources created in the economy are being utilized.
