The Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD) has presented a medium-term analysis regarding the budget of Kyrgyzstan for the coming years. The conclusion of the report reflects the opinions of experts on the financial condition of the country.

Forecasts indicate that during the years 2025-2027, the republic will have a budget surplus, which will allow it to meet obligations, particularly for the recapitalization of state enterprises in sectors such as energy, banking, and construction.

It is expected that during this period, the average surplus will amount to about 1.6% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which will be made possible due to a high level of revenues reaching 23% of GDP.

However, analysts emphasize that by 2028, the planned reduction of tax revenues to 15% of GDP could lead to a deficit amounting to 0.2% of GDP.
