The economist noted that the incomes of the country's residents increased by 19.5%, while the average pension amount rose by 5.8%.
He also reported that Kyrgyzstan's international reserves grew to $7.955 billion, which is $401 million more than in September. These reserves provide the ability to import for six months and are used for currency interventions and stabilizing the som's exchange rate.
According to Shamshiev, during the specified period, migrants transferred $2.3 billion to Kyrgyzstan, which is nearly $400 million more than in the same period last year.
“These remittances account for about 30% of the country's gross domestic product and are used for purchasing housing, cars, and consumer goods, thereby supporting the economy,” he added.
