From January to September 2025, 10,993 residential buildings were completed in Kyrgyzstan, with a total area of 1,274.5 thousand square meters. This is 30% more than in the same period of 2024, according to data from the National Statistical Committee.
Investments in fixed capital for housing construction during this period amounted to approximately 103.5 billion soms, which is 80% higher than last year's level.
Investments directed towards housing construction accounted for 50.2% of the total volume of utilized funds, while in the corresponding period of 2024, this figure was 33.7%.
Regional Structure
The largest amount of new housing, namely 84.3%, was built in the Jalal-Abad, Chui, and Osh regions, as well as in the cities of Bishkek and Osh.
In rural areas, 544 thousand square meters of housing were constructed, which accounts for 42.7% of the total input.
Who Builds Housing
It is reported that the majority of residential construction is financed by the population, which constitutes 75.2% of the total volume.
Individual Houses
In the first nine months of 2025, 7,048 individual residential houses were built with a total area of 957.8 thousand square meters, which is 6.4% more compared to the previous year.
The estimated cost of these houses was 28.2 billion soms, which is 7.1% higher than in January–September 2024.
