Russia exported products worth over $398 million to Kyrgyzstan

In the first eight months of the current year, Russia supplied agricultural products to Kyrgyzstan worth over $398 million. This is 13% more than in the same period of 2022, as reported by the portal "Grain Online," citing data from the federal center "Agroexport."

In 2024, Russia exported over 760 thousand tons of food products to Kyrgyzstan, amounting to nearly $560 million. The main items in this export were wheat and chocolate confectionery, each accounting for 11% of the total volume. Flour confectionery made up 10%, while sunflower oil and sugar each accounted for 6% of the total supply.

The report also indicates that in 2024, agriculture constituted 8.6% of Kyrgyzstan's gross domestic product.
