According to information from the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, Russia has decided to increase the volume of preferential diesel fuel supplies to the country by 100,000 tons.

It was previously reported that the volume of diesel fuel supplies was increased to meet the needs of Kyrgyzstan, while the supply norms for other types of petroleum products remained unchanged.

The Ministry of Energy noted that "the indicative balance for 2026 has been approved at the level of 2025, with the possibility of adjustment depending on actual consumption in Kyrgyzstan."

Kyrgyzstan had previously requested additional preferential supplies of fuel and lubricants from Russia. According to bilateral agreements, Russia annually carries out duty-free supplies to Kyrgyzstan amounting to 1.2 million tons of fuel and lubricants.

The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan continues to negotiate duty-free diesel fuel supplies for 2026.
