The Olympiad will take place in four stages:
- The first stage is the school stage, scheduled for January;
- The second stage is the district stage, set for February. At this level, districts from the regions, as well as districts from the city of Bishkek and cities of district significance, will participate;
- The third stage is the regional stage, which will also take place in February. It will cover the regions, including the cities of Bishkek and Osh;
- The fourth stage is the republican stage, which will be held in March.
The third and fourth stages will be conducted simultaneously across the country within the timelines established by the Ministry.
As part of the Olympiad, students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge in the following subjects:
- English language, mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history, Kyrgyz language and literature, Russian language and literature.
Participation in the Olympiad is free of charge.
According to information from the Ministry of Education, the key objectives of the Republican Olympiad are:
- to identify talented students, encourage them to deepen their study of subjects, as well as to develop creative abilities and interest in scientific activities;
- to identify and support highly qualified and creative teachers who prepare the winners of the Olympiad;
- to assist in the upbringing of gifted children.
