The main objective of the testing was to determine how well educators meet professional standards, as well as to assess the implementation of state and subject educational standards in the fields of natural and humanitarian sciences, including the English language. An important aspect is the planning of continuous professional development for teachers and the assessment of their skills in using computer technology for lesson preparation and delivery, including the completion of test tasks.
It was previously reported that the results of the testing would not affect teachers' salaries.
