President Sadyr Japarov, speaking at the opening ceremony of a school, kindergarten, and medical center at the state residence "Ala-Archa" on November 15, expressed gratitude to educators, emphasizing the importance of their role in education. "The quality of education is determined by the quality of the teacher. The success of the new generation largely depends on your work," he said.

The president also highlighted that the state highly values the contribution of teachers to the reform of the educational system.

"As of today, the average salary of teachers is 26,000 soms. Starting from April 1 of next year, after the increase, it will reach approximately 40,000 soms. A young teacher with a basic education in urban schools, just starting their career, will earn about 22,000 soms. In rural schools, a Kyrgyz language teacher with a bachelor's degree currently earns 23,151 soms, and after the increase, it will be 27,360 soms. In remote mountainous areas, a mathematics teacher with higher education currently receives 65,809 soms, and after the increase, it will be 80,860 soms," the president added.

The head of state also reported that the Ministry of Education is organizing courses for the professional development of teachers, covering subject methodologies, digital skills, STEM areas, and inclusive education. These measures are aimed at enhancing the professional level of educators to improve the quality of education for students, noted Sadyr Japarov.
