On November 23, a significant event for Kyrgyzstan took place in Bishkek — the opening of the first Eurasian Center for the Russian Language and Culture, organized by the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Eurasia." This center, which serves as a multifunctional platform, aims to promote the Russian language, advance Eurasian culture, and develop joint international programs between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. Its tasks include training educators and implementing various humanitarian projects.

High-ranking guests attended the opening ceremony, including the Ambassador of Russia Sergey Vakunov, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, the head of the Russian President's Office for Strategic Partnership and Cooperation Vadim Titov, State Duma deputy and chair of the Council of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Eurasia" Alyona Arshinova, as well as the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Albert Makhmetkulov.

In her speech, Alyona Arshinova emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is not only a partner but also a country that shares common values and strategic views with Russia. For over a year, the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Eurasia" has been working systematically with Kyrgyzstan, including supporting educators, conducting educational forums and professional development courses, as well as creating a professional community of teachers within the framework of the "Eurasian Pedagogical Council" project.

“Our programs involve both Kyrgyz and Russian educators who exchange experiences and collaboratively develop modern teaching methodologies in the Russian language. The opening of the new center is a logical continuation of this important work. These centers create a unique and accessible space for the whole family, where everyone can find an activity — from reading Russian classics to participating in creative workshops. The Russian language remains the connecting link that unites our countries and opens up opportunities for new educational and cultural initiatives,” noted Arshinova.
