A case of illegal captivity of a golden eagle, which is protected by the Red Book of Kyrgyzstan, was recorded in the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region. This information was received from the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the country.
Inspectors from the Osh Regional Department of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service, together with representatives of NABU and the "Bars-2" group, carried out the necessary actions regarding this case.
As a result of the inspection, a protocol was drawn up against the offender, and a fine of 20,000 soms was imposed.
The seized golden eagle was successfully returned to its natural habitat.
