As a result of a recent raid in Bishkek, three vehicles were recorded whose emissions exceed the established norms by more than 50%. This was reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Based on Article 234 of the KR Code "On Offenses," three protocols were drawn up against the owners of these vehicles, and the total amount of fines amounted to 22,500 soms.

According to the agency, on February 19, inspectors from the Bishkek Regional Office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service, together with representatives of the Patrol Police Department, conducted a raid aimed at identifying vehicles that exceed the permissible norms of pollutant emissions.

Regular raids are aimed at improving air quality in the capital, reducing pollution levels, as well as ensuring environmental safety and increasing the responsibility of motorists for complying with environmental standards.
