The director of the Ala-Archa Natural Park, Kubanychbek Zhekshenbekov, informed the Kabar agency that after the introduction of restrictions, the amount of waste in the park has significantly decreased.
“Previously, we removed up to 350 tons of garbage per month, but now this figure is only 100–150 tons. Cleanliness has noticeably improved, and vegetation is actively recovering. There has also been an increase in the number of wild animals, which are now more frequently encountered by visitors. Every spring, between 1,000 and 1,500 trees of various species are planted, and people have started to walk more and show greater care for nature,” he added.
