According to Sergey Tselikov, the general director of the agency "Autostat," from January to October of this year, the import of new passenger cars into Russia decreased by 64% compared to the same period last year.

As for transit through Kyrgyzstan, it has decreased by 52.5% this year, totaling 32,500 passenger cars. Thus, Kyrgyzstan's share in the overall volume of car imports in Russia is just over 11%.

Tselikov also noted that nearly 70% of the cars imported into Russia have engine power exceeding 160 horsepower.
