During the nine months of 2025, the total profit of the sector exceeded 64 billion soms. The main driver of this growth was the National Bank: about 61% of organizations demonstrated profitability, while around 15% incurred losses.
Increase in Revenue and Number of Clients
As of the beginning of 2025, there were 555 various organizations operating in the financial sector of the country, including 21 commercial banks, 18 insurance companies, and 515 non-bank financial and credit institutions.
The total revenue of these organizations during the specified period reached 168.2 billion soms, which is 46% (or 53.1 billion soms) more than in the corresponding months of 2024.
By the end of September 2025, the client base of financial organizations increased to nearly 22 million, which is 40% (more than 6 million) higher than last year's figures. This is attributed to the expansion of the number of bank clients activating mobile banking, the growth in the number of insurance policies, and the development of online lending through microfinance organizations.

As of October 1, 2025, the total volume of the loan portfolio of commercial banks and non-bank financial and credit organizations exceeded 524 billion soms, with 88% of these being bank loans.
