Ruble and Euro Stop Appreciating, Tenge Notably Grows. Exchange Rates on December 18

Based on data obtained from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange points in Bishkek, there is a decrease in the exchange rates of the euro, Russian ruble, and Chinese yuan, while the Kazakh tenge has shown growth. The dollar rate remains stable.

US Dollar:

Rate set by the NB KR: 87.45 soms (unchanged).

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 87.37 soms, selling — 87.8 soms.

Euro:

Rate of the NB KR: 102.4827 soms (decrease of 0.3 percent).

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 102.03 soms, selling — 103.02 soms.

Russian Ruble:

Rate of the NB KR: 1.097 soms (decrease of 0.34 percent).

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 1.077 soms, selling — 1.11 soms.

Kazakh Tenge:

Rate of the NB KR: 0.17 soms (increase of 0.83 percent). This indicates positive dynamics and confident recovery.

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 0.1491 soms, selling — 0.1807 soms.

Chinese Yuan:

Rate of the NB KR: 12.4133 soms (decrease of 0.04 percent).

Average rate at exchange points: buying — 12.4 soms, selling — 12.8 soms.
