
In the first 11 months of 2025, the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan recorded excise tax revenue amounting to 19 billion 493.06 million soms from goods produced in the country and imported from EAEU member states.
According to the agency's information, this figure shows an increase compared to the same period in 2024 by 3 billion 1.7 million soms, which is a 17.3% increase.
From the excise goods produced in the Kyrgyz Republic, 4 billion 826.3 million soms were collected from January to November 2025, including: alcoholic beverages — 3 billion 448.3 million soms, non-alcoholic beverages — 1 billion 297.0 million soms, petroleum products — 70.0 million soms, and tobacco products — 8.2 million soms.
Additionally, from the import of excise goods from EAEU countries, 14 billion 666.8 million soms were collected: of which 9 billion 111.7 million soms were tobacco products, 3 billion 670.9 million soms were petroleum products, 653.7 million soms were alcoholic beverages, and 749.2 million soms were non-alcoholic beverages.
It is important to note that since July 1, 2021, mandatory labeling of tobacco and alcoholic products using identification means has been introduced in Kyrgyzstan.
In the "Product Labeling" system, 12 importers of tobacco products, 34 manufacturers, and 96 importers of alcoholic beverages have already registered to receive labeling codes.
During the specified period, 223.7 million labeling codes were issued, of which 157.2 million were for tobacco products, 42.6 million for alcoholic beverages, 23.7 million for light industry products, 167.9 thousand for footwear, and 3.3 thousand for perfumery.
