The Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan has achieved an important milestone by fulfilling the established plan for tax and payment collection ahead of schedule for the first time in its history. This information was confirmed by the press service of the agency.
According to the established requirements, it was planned to collect 268 billion 326.4 million soms in 2025. The Tax Service successfully accomplished this task and even exceeded the planned figures, indicating a positive trend in the growth of tax revenues and the success of the reforms being implemented.
Preliminary calculations show that by the end of 2025, significantly more revenue is expected, with the total amount possibly exceeding 300 billion soms.
From January to November 2025, the Tax Service collected 275 billion 742 million soms, which is 12 billion 271 million soms more than planned. Compared to the same period in 2024, revenues increased by 71 billion 881 million soms.
There was also an increase in the collection of insurance contributions — their total amounted to 74 billion 57 million soms, which is 1 billion 217 million soms above the established plan. Compared to 2024, collections increased by 7 billion 680 million soms.
In the first 11 months of the current year, the total amount of tax and insurance contributions reached 349.8 billion soms. It is important to note that this growth was not achieved through an increase in the tax burden but was made possible by expanding the taxpayer base, digitizing processes, and improving voluntary tax payments.
These results highlight the effectiveness of the reforms being carried out in the country, as well as the sustainable development of the tax system and the increase in tax literacy among citizens.
