The main supplies from Iran to Kyrgyzstan included paints and varnishes based on synthetic polymers (amounting to $3.7 million), equipment for processing mineral raw materials ($3.4 million), and fruits ($3.3 million). In turn, Kyrgyzstan mainly exported dried legumes (peas, lentils, beans, chickpeas, and others totaling $20.6 million) and cotton fiber ($9 million).
It is worth noting that on January 12, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that "any country that does business with the Islamic Republic of Iran will be required to pay a 25% tariff on all business transactions with the United States."
