In Kyrgyzstan, an increase in investment volume is noted - mostly from China

According to information provided by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, in the first half of 2025, the volume of foreign direct investment reached $562.7 million. In comparison, for the same period in 2024, this figure was $462.2 million. Thus, there is a growth of 21.7 percent.

Ravshanbek Sabirov, head of the National Investment Promotion Agency, reported at a press conference that the main sources of investment are China, which invested $166 million (accounting for 23.6 percent of the total), as well as Russia with $106 million and Turkey with $96 million.

The interest of international investors in Kyrgyzstan is also confirmed by data showing that in 2025, $377.2 million came from non-CIS countries, indicating the stability of investment activity.

As of September 2025, the National Agency oversees more than 15 investment projects with a total declared investment amount exceeding $5.9 billion. The volume of investments increased from $5.25 billion in 2024 to $5.9 billion, corresponding to a growth of approximately 12.4 percent.

According to the agency head's statement, more than 30 events aimed at attracting and supporting foreign investments were organized this year, including 16 business forums of international and bilateral formats with the participation of government representatives, local entrepreneurs, international organizations, and the foreign business community.

Additionally, over 500 meetings with investors from various countries were held, during which promising projects in areas such as energy, industry, logistics, digital technologies, tourism, and agriculture were discussed.
